Being a Christian can be challenging. I'm not one of those people who will sugarcoat my faith and tell you it has all been roses and chocolates. No, there have been times I screamed and yelled at God, times I was filled with doubt and unbelief, times where I thought He had abandoned me. But, through it all, God has been faithful, protecting me when I didn't deserve it, loving me when I felt unlovable, and drawing me back to Him when I was running away.
My name is Katina Wetter-Wright, and I am not your typical Christian. I am not afraid to be open and honest about my own faith struggles. See, I wish someone would have told me earlier that being a Christian did not negate the fact that there would be troubles in this life. I wish I would have known John 16:33 sooner.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
The truth I have found walking in the presence of Jesus is this: Being a Christian does not mean I will never have troubles. It doesn't even mean I will always do everything correctly. It means Jesus will be there to help me through anything this world throws at me if I allow Him to be. Psalm 32:7-8
On this website, you will find content that will challenge you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ. It is an open and honest look into the challenges and successes all humans face regardless of their beliefs. That being said, I approach these challenges from a biblically-based perspective. One that has changed my life and secured my eternal destiny.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him:, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans:8:28
